Amber Harris is a freelance product designer specialising in soft and hard goods for homeware, lifestyle and gift.

Over the course of her career, her work has reached international audiences across the UK, North America, France, Japan, South Korea, and Kuwait, and has been featured in publications such as WGSN, Elle Decoration, and World of Interiors.

Creativity has always been central to Amberโ€™s life. Having worked with textiles from a young age, she spent her formative years embroidering, printing, knitting, weaving, and dyeing by hand - an experience that shaped her appreciation for tactility and materiality in design.

Amber graduated with First Class Honours from UAL Central Saint Martins in 2018, starting her career as a Textile Designer for premium slow fashion brands Wrap London & Poetry, before moving to The Conran Shop as Homeware Designer in 2021. While initially hired for her textile expertise, she soon expanded into 3D product design, developing a love for working with ceramics and wood. Today, her portfolio spans textiles, ceramics, glass, wood, metal, paper, and more.

In 2024, Amber took the leap into freelancing, combining her expertise in textiles and 3D design to work independently across homeware, lifestyle, and gift categories. This move has given her the freedom to take on diverse projects and collaborate with well-known brands such as Harrods and Papier.

Amber values thoughtful, meaningful design that stands the test of time. Sustainability is at the heart of her practice, and she seeks clients and collaborations that share this vision. Her eclectic taste is shaped by vintage finds, art, and wider culture, all of which inform her creative approach.

Beyond design, Amber loves hiking, swimming in nature, and trying to befriend animals in her local area.
