Amber Harris is a freelance homeware designer specialising in soft and hard goods for home and lifestyle brands.
Over the course of her career, her work has reached international audiences across the UK, North America, France, Japan, South Korea and Kuwait, and has been featured in publications including WGSN, Elle Decoration and The World of Interiors.
After graduating from Central Saint Martins UAL with First Class Honours, Amber began her career as a Textile Designer for premium fashion brands before moving into the homeware industry. There, she expanded her skillset to include 3D modelling and rendering, developing into a multidisciplinary product designer. Today, her portfolio spans textiles, ceramics, glass, wood, metal, paper and more.
In 2024, Amber took the leap into freelancing and now works independently across homeware, lifestyle and gift categories, collaborating with both established brands and small independent businesses and start-ups. She supports new product development (NPD) from concept through to final design, bringing a thoughtful and material-led approach to each project.
Amber values thoughtful, meaningful design that stands the test of time. Sustainability is at the heart of her practice, and she seeks clients and collaborations that share this vision. Her eclectic taste is shaped by vintage finds, art and wider culture, all of which inform her creative approach.
Available for freelance design, NPD development, and creative collaborations across homeware, lifestyle and gift.
